Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was truly a pleasant surprise! The rooms were huge, giving my husband and me a separate area to relax while our daughter slept in the bedroom. The hotel pool and gym were convenient additions. However, the room layout was unexpectedly like a dorm room, which was a bit surprising for a downtown Toronto hotel.
The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown and Metro Lines 1 & 2, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms have an odd mix of old-fashioned furniture but are spacious. While the service was not outstanding, the staff did make an effort to address our concerns. The dining options could use improvement, especially for larger groups. The facilities are adequate but could benefit from some upgrades.
The service was extremely helpful with tourist questions and recommendations for nearby places to eat. The location was very convenient, close to a variety of shops. The dining experience was basic but decent, offering essential breakfast items. The facilities were satisfactory.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. However, the dining options were quite basic. Overall, a great value for money!
The hotel is situated at the heart of downtown Toronto, offering clean rooms with nice kitchen and balcony. While the rooms were small and dirty, their location is extremely convenient for exploring the city. The service was average, with polite but not outstanding staff. The dining options were lacking, but the hotel did offer amenities like dry cleaning and tours assistance. Overall, it's a decent choice but could use some improvements.
The hotel room was very spacious but felt cold even with the heating radiator on. It was convenient to collect food to enjoy in the room, though there was only one small bathroom available. The price was reasonable, considering the size of the room.
The hotel rooms were very big and spacious with nice furniture, really a home away from home. They were clean, bright, and comfortable, offering a full kitchen and plenty of storage. The hotel pool and gym added extra convenience. However, the location felt a bit small and hidden, and the busy atmosphere could disturb the sleep if the window was left open.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, but encountering yellow tap water and facing a significant deposit issue left me a bit frustrated. On the bright side, the location was superb for exploring Toronto with quick access to transportation. The service was a mix of unaccommodating attitudes and highly polite and helpful staff. The dining experience was lacking in quality and service, while the facilities could use some improvements.
The hotel provides clean and comfortable rooms with very quiet surroundings. The service is beyond helpful, with very friendly and accommodating staff. The location is wonderfully close to key subway stations and various dining options. Dining was tasty but lacked variety. Overall, a good value for money choice with some room for improvement in the dining offerings.
The hotel wasn't in great condition overall, with no areas to take your dog outside, very far from downtown, and very inconvenient access to the garage. However, it was particularly well-suited for business/work, offering a desk area and suitable seating. The rooms were clean and spacious.
My five nights at this hotel were a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were very clean and quiet, resembling more of an apartment feel; although they weren't as warm as I would have liked. The service was extremely helpful, especially Jun, who went out of his way to accommodate us and ensure all our kitchen needs were covered. The location was great, with a good kitchen and big living room space on the vibrant Church St in Toronto, close to public transit and major downtown attractions. However, the dining options, mainly a small cafe across the street, were limited, and the hotel facilities were just average without any standout features.
My stay at the Towns Inn was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, but they definitely needed some TLC with various issues like a lumpy mattress, peeling wallpaper, and water damage in the kitchen. The location was a bit inconvenient as I had to rely on Uber to get around, and the ongoing construction of condos nearby was a drawback.
I had reserved my cruise ship room months in advance with specific preferences, and I was pleased to find that it matched the pictures on the website. The service on board was impeccable, with all the staff being personable, kind, helpful, and understanding. The location of the cruise ship right on Yonge/Bloor intersection in Toronto was super convenient, giving easy access to everything around. However, the dining experience was a bit basic and disappointing, and the facilities, while adequate, could have been more varied.
The hotel has a great location, ideal for a vibrant dining and bar experience, with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. The rooms are outdated and in need of a renovation, with some maintenance issues like noisy air-con units. The service is top-notch, with exceptionally accommodating and thoughtful staff. The location is fantastic for exploring Toronto, with convenient access to public transport and essential services. The dining experience is basic, with limited options and expensive parking. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives.
The hotel is in a prime location, offering a cozy room with a nice bar area, but not entirely as advertised during booking. The service had its ups and downs, from a thoughtful gesture of sculpted swans to uncomfortable encounters with staff making assumptions based on appearances. The location is a standout feature, especially for being in the heart of a vibrant area with easy access to various attractions. Dining options were limited but included in a reasonable rate.
